Black Light Bliss Introduction
DJ Info:
The concept is easy enough. We are looking for talented DJ's who wanna compete for a grand prize. Long story short you promote yourself for Black Light Bliss. When people come in they say the #1 DJ they are there for. You get $5 per head you bring. The person who brings the most heads gets $1000 on top of that $5 per head. So the math is simple. You bring 200 heads, that is $1000, if you also are the person who brings the most heads, you also get an additional $1000. Thats a cool $2000 for a single hour of spinning. High dollar event geared to letting the DJ's in the scene finally getting a bad ass payday!
Riding the Neon Pony
What I want is simple, have a fantastic colored neon party. Everyone is encouraged to wear bright neon blacklight cloths. Have the event be decked out with some serious lighting. Namely have the lights be killer blacklights. Also have some killer Graffiti plastered all over the walls in invisible paint that shows under blacklight only. Killer light shows and general pimpness will happen.
Promotion Plan:
There are many aspects to how this event will be promoted including: Investors, Fliers, FaceBook, 3rd party involvement. Here is the outline for each promotional tool.
1) DJ's: You as the DJ push to get heads to the party. The more heads the more the DJ's get paid. Thats what we are aiming for.
2) Fliers: Enough said, We have to get the fliers out so people have something physical to look at as a reminder of the event we are putting in place. GetRowdy will be taking responsibility for printing the fliers.
3) Facebook: This is a valuable promotional tool where we can get a bunch of people to view and confirm they are coming (although I do know the "Im Attending" button doesnt mean they really are). This will give us a place for people to question and provide feedback on what we are doing as well as get some extra attention from people that may or may not be involved in the rave scene already.
4) 3rd Party Involvement: This is just here as a placeholder for possible avenues for promotion outside of what we in the rave scene are already aware of. I am interested in getting some good things going here.
Disclaimer:
Now we have to make sure that we have the cash to pay the DJ's the $2000 in prize money so we need 500 heads before we drop our prize on the DJ's. Now this does not mean the DJ's will not be compensated. You are going to get the $5 per head no matter what. If we get close to the 500 head mark and do not hit the full 500, I will take from my nightly earnings and make a prize for the #1 spot and also compensate any other notable help from other DJ's.
