Black Light Bliss (Name can be changed)
This will be an event where people are encouraged to wear Neon to show up in the Black Lights. The event will be 2 stages from 8pm or 9pm till 3am. We will be needing to get 2 stages with 6 or 7 time slots depending on what we decide.
Here are the current estimated costs:
Venue: $1000
Sound: $800
Lighting: Undecided (more than likely $400)
DJ's: Paid with door money (Looking for locals only)
Event Permits: not needed
Event Insurance: $400 (depending on needs)
4x6 Flier Prints: $195 for 5000 fliers glossy coat front and back.
Current estimated cost: $2800 (Not including Door Money for DJ's)
Possible Return On Investment:
Venue can hold 800 people reasonably, we can do a $10 party and we would need roughly 400 people to be SURE we broke even. I understand that 400 can be a little rough and sense we are just coming out the gates we might want to have it be $10 before 10pm and $15 after to try and make sure we have some extra cash on this. The potential is here. I would really like to keep the cost of the event down and push for more heads instead of raising the cost. As mentioned in the mission statement, its about the people not about the money. With that in mind, we still have to make the cash to cover our expenses so it is our job to bring heads. Anything in excess of 400 is great, if we can get 800 than we will all have Denny's!
